As I mentioned it briefly on the show I thought I would elaborate on 2 game modes my friends and I have come up with for GTA4, now we're not the most creative people, but we like to have fun, if anyone else has any to add please do in the comments section as I'm sure we all love to share, anyway here goes:

Burger Joint Holdout !

As you can see, to demonstrate I found a picture of HERO in his local burger joint after a heavy day on the job (work that is).

Anyway the aim of the game:

First of all and this is important, set the game to party mode not free mode (all will become clear).

• Ideal No of players is 10-12.
• Split into 2 equal teams.
• Choose 2 leaders.
• As its in party mode everyone will spawn at the safe house, this becomes more important as the game progresses.
• The first team to do the hold out must make their way to a burger joint (there is one very near the safehouse)
• Once they arrive and only when they arrive, the leader of that team will let the team back at the safe house know they are ready.
• Once this has happened the other team can head for the burger joint.
• Once they arrive all hell breaks loose.
• When someone gets killed they will spawn back at the safehouse, they must remain here until the round is over (consider it an interactive lobby)
• When all the members of a team have been killed they have lost the round.
• As you all spawn back at the safehouse its easy to start the next round-we tend to have best of 5.

Runaway Speed Bus (get em Keanu)

The rules of this game are very simple :

This is best played in free mode again it is for 2 teams the rules are as follows:

• This time the teams can be off set 3-4 players are best on the bus and someone needs to be appointed time keeper.
• 12 altogether is a good number as you can split into 4 teams of 3 each taking a turn in the bus.
• Once you have decided on teams, decide who does the bus first, and they clamber on board (make sure you are well tooled up)
• Everyone must aquire a vehicle.
• The bus is then given a 20 second head start.
• Once the 20 seconds are up the official timekeeper starts their stopwatch.
• Everyone heads off in hot pursuit
• Once the bus has either been blown up or everyone on the bus is dead, the timekeeper stops the watch and notes the time.
• All the other teams repeat the above and the winning team is the team that lasted the longest.
• Its more fun if rocket launchers arn't used on the attacking team but fine for the team on the bus, as it wouldn't last very long.
